2. 3. For this photo I used one of the school cameras.

1. This was one of the first photos that I took in this class. The picture was taken to show grouping, it is a tire that I saw under the bleachers.
2. The composition of this shot is grouping there is a little bit of balance in there as well.
3. For this photo I used one of the school cameras.
4.For this photo I probably would have zoomed out a bit to maybe get some more of the grouping in there.
5. In photoshop I used the exposure tool and different tools to change the lighting in this photograph. I believe I also used a contrasting tool to contrast the tread from the other part of the tire.
6. The mood for this picture is abstract. The picture is obviously grouping, but the viewer can make it what it is. If you did not know that this is a tire, it could look like a variety of things like stones perhaps.

This photo was for the Christmas Tree competition. It was taken in the lobby of South Salem High School, it’s of our Christmas tree.
This shot utilizes selective focus and lighting as well.
I used one of the school cameras in this photo.
Something to improve in this photo was that some of the ornament in the top of the screen is cut out. I should have either not included that piece or I should have made sure I got all of the ornament in the picture.
In this photo I contrasted the colors, and I also changed the level of exposure. The main thing I did to this photo was I used to selective color and color balance tool. I did this to make the green more green and the red stand out more to use christmas colors.
The mood for this picture is festive because it has ornaments and it is for the holiday season.

1.This photo is for our fall picture assignment. I took it on one of the streets on the Howard St. Side of the school.
2.The composition of this shot is the lighting and leading lines.
3. I used one of the school cameras for this photo.
4.To improve this photo I should have cropped it narrower maybe, I also could have zoomed down the road to keep more focus on the leading lines.
5.In this photo I used the contrast and different color variation tools in this photo. I also changed the saturation and brightness of this photo.
6. The mood for this photo is fall, it shows. the changing of the seasons. The color really makes it feel like fall is upon us and winter is coming. It could also be festive if you think in terms of Halloween

1.This photo was just for practicing taking photos, and it was taken in the back of the school going out toward the softball fields.
2. The composition in this photo has leading lines, lighting, and the rule of thirds. The leading lines is the telephone wire. The lighting is the darkness and the color, and the rule of thirds points to the bird on the wire.
3. I used one of the school cameras for this photo.
4.In this photo I would have cut out the house in the bottom right of the screen.
5. I used the brightness and contrast tools to make it darker and change the colors to fall. I also used color balance tools to make it more of a fall theme with the crow.
6. The mood for this photo is fall, and it is kind of dark and maybe a little bit mysterious. The focus is on the crow and the crow is a darker bird and so I used that to set the tone of the photo.

This is one of the first photos I took, and I was just working on using different photography techniques. This was taken on the Howard St. side of our school.
There are a few compositions in this shot. There is balance because the glasses are in the middle. There is framing with the glass, and there is leading lines because the image is looking down the street.
I used one of the school cameras.
In this photo I would have maybe done some more exposure edits or messed around with the color balance a bit more to add some flare.
To this photo I just did some basic cropping and adjusted the lighting very slightly.
The mood for this picture was technical. It was kind of cool because it is like you are looking through my eyes to where I am looking.

7. My pictures show that I like to use leading lines in my photography and also like to use a contrast in colors. I believe my photos also show that I have good ideas, however, I am still an amateur when it comes to photography
8. I like to take pictures with contrast in color and utilize leading lines. For example all my pictures except the last one show a contrast in colors and brightness. My number three, four, and five picture show the leading lines.
9.My favorite picture was my fourth one on this slideshow.
10. I don’t like to take portraits because they are too
personal for me and I feel awkward doing them. I don’t
really like to do too much abstract either because it is
harder for me to think outside of the box like that, and I
would much rather be straight forward in my pictures.
