1 Network of Outdoor Window Simulation
A Network Consists of TV Screens Used as Simulation Windows for Displaying Realtime Outdoor Views of Various Locations Streaming from Network Servers Presented By Chiou-muh Jong

2 Chiou-muh Jong Ex-GSE Simulation Engineer
Guardener Deer Repelling Device inventor and owner Currently the eCoupe42 electric car promoter Part time .Net programmer for Columbus Technology Service

3 Background Big screen display devices as big as typical room windows are very affordable and light enough to mount on walls Countless inner rooms have no access to outdoor views Rooms/units with good outdoor views cost much higher to own/rent Internet with enough bandwidth for real time scene display is affordable

4 Network Architecture

5 Outdoor Scene Window Simulation
Big TV screens mounting on walls as simulation windows Channel control device (similar to Chromecast by Google TV) inserted to monitor input to stream outdoor views Implementing integral control into remote control device for controlling curtain on the top of simulation windows

6 Outdoor View Channels Local view channels: up to four views—east, west, south and north views are available for each simulation window Remote view channels: All views are from famous scene locations around the world; various subscription prices with the amount of channels available

7 Simulation Techniques
Real curtain/mini-blind mounting on the top of TV screen or Superimposing curtain imagery with controllable open status onto dynamically changing outdoor view imagery Creation of background noises such as thunder, raining and wind blowing Simulation of viewing perspectives reflecting sensed human movement

8 Targeted Customers Big building/subdivisions owners
Companies with big office buildings Hotel chain owners Cruise boat owners Residential mansions with basement theaters Other rooms/units want to have good outdoor views

9 Motivation for Installing Simulation Windows
Building Owners: improve outdoor views to increase condos/units/rooms selling/rental prices Hotel/boat Owners: improve outdoor views for inner rooms to charge higher rates Company owners: award good managers with good outdoor views to improve efficiency

10 Major Business Activities (I)
Obtaining good views from good scene locations around the world Installing local video cameras for each building upon new customer’s request Maintenance of server operation for receiving and distributing outdoor views Selling channel input devices to customers as the way of subscription

11 Major Business Activities (II)
Provide customized simulation service for simulation at various degrees of fidelity Provide special event channels for special event channel around the world Provide possible advertisement services for other products

12 Initial Investment An array of servers as network major devices
Video cameras for installing at desired locations Traveling expenses for installations of video equipments at various locations Analyst expense for setting up network services Engineering expense for design of channel control device Manufacturing cost for channel control devices

13 Business Running Cost Cost of human resources for network maintenance
Utility cost Website maintenance cost Traveling cost

14 Projected Revenue Sources
Monthly subscription fees Selling of channel control devices Installation service charges for local channel customers Customized simulation charges Device rental fees Possible advertisement incomes

15 How We Start Business method is currently in patent pending status owned by Chiou-muh Jong Need a company partner or at least two more individual partners Partners share initial cost for creating video for crowd funding, may cost $5,000 to $10,000 Raise initial investment cost by crowd funding

16 Fund Raising Kickstarter: All or nothing style, 3% fee
Indiegogo: Can take the raised fund even not reach the goal, but with higher charge of 9% instead of 3% if reaches raising goal Goal amount needs to accurately reflect the cost described in raising campaign Initial estimation of goal: $one million for setting up the business with at least 5 outdoor view channels available

17 Creating Campaign Project
Chiou-muh Jong will be the major editor in creating the this project Partners are encouraged to share some efforts Partners are responsible to arrange for gift idea and manufacturing of them All partners need to show up in the video

18 If Goal Is Reached Start initial buildup immediately
Start distributing award gifts to contributors

19 If Not Kickstarter: get no support, still can continue if venture capital group come to rescue Indiegogo: partial fund is available, so partners need to decide how to get more funds or quit for good if partial fund is far from the goal
