High Accuracy Vehicle Tracking
For Underground Mining

What makes MST Different?
Revision A
3
Better Tracking Accuracy
Traditional RFID Positioning Fixed passive tags can be picked up by the machine mounted readers from 30m away, resulting in very course grained machine positioning. MST exciter-based reverse tracking Active WiFi tags are placed at locations of interest. The tags are dormant and only transmit when within range of the machine-mounted tag exciter. This allows fine grained positioning with up to 5m accuracy. 5m Up to 30 m

Compatible with your existing network
MST High Accuracy Vehicle Tracking is compatible with the Network you already have in place: Your existing APs function as Tags or Beacons that are read by the reverse-tracking VIP on the machine. MST tag Existing AP infrastructure MST WiFi Tags can be added at locations where positioning is required, where no network coverage exists.

Local and uploaded positioning events
All positioning events captured by the VIP are available for on-board applications, such as Pitram or Modular Fleet Management Systems (FMS). These events are uploaded to MineDash whenever a machine passes any Access Point. MineDash use this information for production dashboards and reporting, aka “MST FMS Light”.
