1
When I Have Fears That I May Cease to Be
By: John Keats
2
When I have fears that I may cease to be
3
Before my pen has gleaned my teeming brain
4
Before high-piled books, in character,
5
Hold like rich garners the full ripened grain;
6
When I behold, upon the night’s starr’d face,
7
Huge cloudy symbols of a high romance,
8
And think that I may ever live to trace
9
Their shadows, with the magic hand of chance;
10
And when I feel, fair creature of an hour,
11
That I shall never look upon thee more,
12
Never have relish in the fairy power
13
Of unreflecting love then on the shore
14
Of the wide world I stand alone, and think
15
Till love and fame to nothingness do sink
16
Thanks for Watching!
