Recycling is very important as waste has a huge negative impact on the natural environment for example : Huge amounts of energy are used when making products from raw materials. Recycling requires much less energy and therefore helps to preserve natural resources.

first of all there is No space for waste. Our landfill sites are filling up fast, by 2015, almost all landfills in the UK will be full.

Another idea Recycling is an excellent way of saving energy and conserving the environment.

Did you know that: 1 recycled tin can would save enough energy to power a television for 3 hours. 1 recycled glass bottle would save enough energy to power a computer for 25 minutes. 1 recycled plastic bottle would save enough energy to power a 60-watt light bulb for 3 hours.

It takes 24 trees to make 1 ton of newspaper.
Also 70% less energy is required to recycle paper compared with making it from raw materials. 24 million tonnes of aluminium is produced annually, 51,000 tonnes of which ends up as packaging in the UK. It takes 24 trees to make 1 ton of newspaper. 8

Just remember if you want to protect and save your environment
Reduce your using of things Reuse the products that can be use again And recycle as much as you can
