2 What is a mass shooting? A public shooting in which 3 or more people are killed that are generally unrelated and unknown to each other. A federal law was signed by President Obama in 2013 that defined the threshold as three or more victims killed.

6 How Can We Protect Ourselves
Metal detectors would detect any type of weapon such as guns, knifes, etc. We need armed guards working the entrances in case of an emergency. Metal detectors can range anywhere from $2, – $11,000.00

7 They Have Been Proven To Work
Metal detectors are successful in airports, arenas, and other heavily populated buildings. Its unlikely that someone will try and enter a metal detector while carrying a weapon. Students and people will feel more safe in buildings with metal detectors.
