Use the following website for info or search for careers on the Internet using the key words “science careers”.
Your goal is to find a science career that begins with each letter of the alphabet, and a description for each career.

Agriculture
Inspector
Inspects peanut and meat processing plants for bacteria and cleanliness. Also surveys feeding practices at farms
Biochemical
Engineer
Synthesizes (creates) fertilizers to enhance farmers crops. Enhance
a variety of food to make them more nutritious (Vit D milk, yogurt)
Creates nautical charts to help guides ships through treacherous
Water, survey terrain (land) by plane to create accurate maps
Cartographer

5. Homework
Once you have completed the ABC Alphabet, look through the careers
Select 5 careers that interested you the most
Search for photos that relate to those careers
Print them out
Bring them to class Monday
