Key questions: How can primary schools provide a more targeted and tailored support to children who enter primary school with lower levels of literacy than their peers? How can schools close the literacy gap during primary school years? Do you know about any good practice examples in your country? How can we promote the use of specialised support for struggling readers at the national and EU levels? What measures at the EU and national levels should be put in place to ensure that all struggling readers get the specialized support they need?
