3 Moving from 11n/Wave 1 to Wave 2
Highlights: Moving from 11n/Wave 1 to Wave 2 Wave 2 APs represent 37% of Aruba’s total deployment Leading with the Wave 2 AP-310 Series across verticals – fast adoption rate Meet customer needs with the variety of Wave 2 APs - based on Dell Oro’s market trend, Wave 2 deployment in 2016 is about 25% of the total deployment - Aruba’s Wave 2 AP sale unit represents 37% of the total sale --- we are moving much faster than the market to Wave 2 adoption. - By 2018, we expect the market adoption for Wave 2 will reach 100%. Aruba will be the leader driving this.

4 Aruba AP300 Series – 305 & 304 Positioning:
Entry Level low cost ac Wave 2 with a peak aggregate data rate at 1.7Gbps Ideal for cost sensitive medium density environment across most verticals Unique Benefits: Dual radio 5GHz 3x3:3SS: 1300Mbps max (3SS VHT80 clients) 2.4GHz: 400Mbps max (2SS VHT40 clients) Up to two MU-MIMO clients on 5GHz Integrated BLE 802.3af/at POE / 12Vdc Slight larger size than 205 series:165mm(W) x 165mm(D) x 45mm(H) US List Price: ($695) ArubaOS InstantOS Price List: Sept.FY16 Shipping: Oct.FY16 Dual radio, single GbE port 5GHz 3x3:3SS: 1300Mbps max (3SS VHT80 clients) 2.4GHz: 400Mbps max (2SS VHT40 clients) Up to two MU-MIMO clients on 5GHz Support for approved 5GHz bands in the future Transmit Beamforming and Advanced Cellular Coexistence AP-304/IAP-304: 3 x RP-SMA connectors for dual-band antennas Integrated BLE radio: locationing, console access 802.3af/at POE / 12Vdc ~12.9W normal operation, 19.2W with full USB load Slight larger size than 205 series:165mm(W) x 165mm(D) x 45mm(H) Integrated BLE

5 Carpeted space across verticals
Aruba ac Wave 2 Family Model 5GHz Radio MU-MIMO Clients Location Density (per radio/AP) Vertical 300 Series(Wave 2) 3x3:3SS SU-MIMO 3x3:2SS MU-MIMO up to 1,300Mbps 2 Indoor Moderate (50/75+ active) K-12, Hospitality, Retail 310 Series(Wave 2) 4x4:4SS MU-MIMO 1,733Mbps 3 High (75/115+ active) Carpeted space across verticals 320 Series(Wave 2) 4x4:3SS MU-MIMO 4x4:4SS SU-MIMO Up to 1,733Mbps Higher Ed, Enterprise 330 Series(Wave 2) Very High (100/150+ active) Entry: 200 Series  moderate performance & density Cost-sensitive deployments with moderate performance and moderate density (up to 50 active devices per AP) Aggressive pricing, simple transition from 11n (AP-105), 2x2:2SS Flagship: 220 Series  highest performance & density High-density (up to 125 active devices per AP) and highest performance while also providing redundant GigE uplinks. Premium platform, best in the business Mid range: 210 Series  high performance & moderate density High performance but willing to sacrifice on density of users (up to 75 active devices per AP) and forgo redundant GigE uplinks for cost savings. Full performance on 802.3af. Cost-effective, high performance, value

6 Aruba 305, 315, 325 and 335 Wave 2 AP Comparison
5GHz Radio 3x3:3SS SU-MIMO 3x3:2SS MU-MIMO 1.3Gbps 4X4:4SS SU/MU-MIMO 1.7Gbps 4X4:4SS SU-MIMO 4X4:3SS MU-MIMO 2.4GHz Radio 2SS, 400Mbps 4SS, 800Mbps Channel 80MHz 160MHz Ethernet Single 1GigE Dual GigE One Smart Rate (1/2.5/5GigE) and One1GigE POE 802.3af/at(in nearly unrestricted mode with af) 802.3at (limited functionalities with 802.3af) Price $695 $995 $1,395 $1,695 305 is ideal for cost sensitive medium density environments across verticals 315 will be the best performance/price for most customers 325 has a second Ethernet port for network and power redundancy 335 works with multi-gigabit switches for very high density

7 Aruba 300, Cisco 1830, Ruckus R 510 Comparison
5GHz Radio 3x3:3SS SU-MIMO 3x3:2SS MU-MIMO Up to 1.3Gbps 3X3:2SS SU/MU-MIMO 867Mbps 2X2:2SS SU-MIMO 2.4GHz Radio 2SS, 400Mbps 2SS, 300Mbps Channel 20/40/80MHz Ethernet Single 1GigE Dual GigE POE 802.3af/at(in nearly unrestricted mode with af) 802.3af/at (USB port is disabled with802.3af) 802.3af External Antenna Yes No Integrated BLE Price $695 $645

8 Aruba AP 207 Positioning: Making fast 802.11ac affordable for everyone
Moving from AP205 to AP207 with lower cost ($695 vs$395) Unique Benefits: Dual radio 2x2:2SS 5GHz radio: 867Mbps max (with 2SS/VHT80) 2.4GHz radio: 400Mbps max (2SS/VHT40) Integrated BLE Temperature range: 0C to +50C 802.3af/at POE / 12Vdc Same size as 205 series:150mm(W) x 150mm(D) x 40mm(H) US List Price: ($395) ArubaOS InstantOS Price List: Sept.FY16 Shipping: Oct.FY16 Dual radio 2x2:2SS 5GHz radio: 867Mbps max (with 2SS/VHT80 or 1SS/VHT160 clients) 2.4GHz radio: 400Mbps max (2SS/VHT40) Realistic for 2.4GHz: 300Mbps at 2SS/HT40 and 144Mbps at 2SS/HT20 Support for approved 5GHz bands in the future TxBF, ACC, TPM, console (4pin header), reset Integrated BLE radio: locationing, wireless console access Temperature range: 0C to +50C Transmit Beamforming and Advanced Cellular Coexistence 1x GbE, 802.3af/at POE / 12Vdc, ~12W max Same size as 205 series:150mm(W) x 150mm(D) x 40mm(H) Expect to see 205 going away, when 207 catches up – for particular deployment in lower density and cost sensitive environment ( dorm, APJ) AP207 doesn’t have the H model ( wall jack) yet. Expect to come soon. Extended upper temperature (50C vs. 40C for 205) The 207 CPU is weaker in de-tunnel, bridge and IAP modes. Performance will be worse on the 207 in those modes Integrated BLE
