Types of Client on your machine e.g. Mail, Outlook Web based e.g. Yahoo, MSN, Google, etc. You need to be 13 or over to sign up for most accounts. Year 5 & 6 are given school accounts and learn how to use cloud storage via Office 365.

Implications Affecting a child/s mental state as with any case of bullying Bullies are not aware of ‘Digital Footprint’. Nothing is forgotten on the web when it comes to posting information ( or Social Networking sites) Other students might think they cannot be caught and be also encouraged to join in as it ‘cannot be traced’

Setting up a safe environment
Have a communal computer/laptop for use by your children – never in their bedroom (including iPads etc!) Keep your computer/laptop up-to-date with the latest antivirus tools, and other Internet protection. Know what your children are up to on the Internet. Discuss with them what they have found or what they were up to on the World Wide Web in an informal manner.

What are the children doing about E-Safety?
Lower School – Lessons on E-Safety during ICT Workshops for Year 1 - Year 3 Middle and Upper School – Information and discussions being held during PSHCE lessons by tutors. Year 7-9 – being covered in ICT lessons
