The Republic of Vanuatu
An archipelago comprised of 82 islands in six provinces. Vanuatu agricultural activities are mainly subsistence farming and a few commercial farming. Economic resources based on agriculture, marine and tourism resources. Vanuatu not a member of IPPC Director of VQIS is the official national plant protection organization contact point. Vanuatu national official points of entries are Port-Vila, Luganville, Lenakel and Sola

National Plant Protection Organization information System
1.1- Plant Protection Act No. 14 of 1997 - Vanuatu plant protection activities are covered by the Plant Protection Act passed in the parliament in 1997. 1.2 –Database resources - Plant protection data information by Peter Maddisson - The Vanuatu Pest List Database, set up by SPC 1.3 – Phytosanitary requirements. - Import specifications manual - Bilateral quarantine agreement
