John was first employed in 1922 as an general manger and gradually worked up to become a managing director in 1923 and then in 1927 he was employed as the director-general. What media sector it belongs to? -The mass media. Such as the Internet, Radio, Newspapers. What products it produces? - The products the BBC produces is broadcasting, radio and web portals. Who are its competitors? -The competitors are possibly Disney as it’s a world known company that has many products sold within the Media, such a television programme ‘ Disney Channel’ and also having its own websites. Who are their Customers? - The owners/ customers are the British Public. How they charge their customers is through a television licence of what the customers have to pay to watch television.

But it mixed in within One, Galaxy and Hit music radio networks. What media sector it belongs to? - The broadcast area is the United Kingdom. What products it produces? - The capital network have their own charity called ‘Capital Child’ Which is an adopting appeal for people to adopt children. They also have other projects to help with the homeless and support groups to help young people with disability's and supplementary schools and literacy programmes and many more. Who are its competitors? -Their competitors or so called sister stations are Heart, Classic FM, Smooth Radio. Capital Xtra and Radio X. Who are their Customers? -The core target audience is at a core between The stations serve has a combined weekly audience of 8.6 million listeners.

Who are their Customers? - The Daily Mail created a survey in 2014 and they found the average age of its reader which was 58, also had demographic age of 15 to 44 year olds. Approximately 3.5 million read the actual newspaper (buy it) and around 100 million, world wide visitors read the online newspaper.

What products it produces? - The company uses a world wide platform, which allows the public to get Music out at the same time. They use advertisements through their music videos such as McDonalds. Who are its competitors? -Their competitors are MTV but, according to the company MTV allows Vevo make their Network more friendly. Who are their Customers? - Vevo is available all around the world.

Who are its competitors? - Their Parenting company is NBCUniversal. Their competitor is DreamWorks. Who are their Customers? -Their customers are those who watch films at the cinema and also people who buy hard copy DVD. Having online websites or apps allow the customers to pay for multiple films which, pays towards the company Universal as there films are placed in the Film apps.
