16. WASTE MANAGEMENT PLANS TA Project for Preparation of WMPs
A Technical Assistance Project has started in May 2008 in order to have a “National Waste
Management Plan” complying with the format mentioned
in “Preparing a Waste Management Plan-A Methodological
Guidance Note” of EU.
WMPs including all kinds of wastes (namely municipal, hazardous, special, medical, packaging wastes) in compliance with EU legislation and in this way providing support to the Projects taking place in the Operational Programme.
