FLORIDA PRESENTATION Florida was founded in 1977, when a group of professionals with a vocation for education and training decided to start a cooperative initiative. Nowadays we are a group of more than 200 professionals working in a campus (of 26,869 square metres) with 6 buildings and on which more than 3,500 students study each year. At FLORIDA we believe in people and their professional commitment, and this is why all the workers can participate and take decisions in their role as members of the co-operative.

Seniors University has a twofold objective: on the one hand, to help students to better understand the world around them, and, on the other, to keep their interest in learning. “Discover a pleasure in studying”, as our slogan reads. FLORIDA aims at the implantation of Quality Assurance Systems, as a result of this it has achieved the “Educational Excellence Certification” in Higher & Secondary Education and the “ISO 9001” standards in Student Services as well as Continuing Education Training and Training for Unemployed People.
