3. The creation of frankenstein
The idea for this famous story came to Shelley when she and her husband were staying with Lord Byron, at his villa near Lake Geneva. One stormy night Byron suggested that everyone should write a ghost story. At first Mary did not have any ideas, but later she had a dream in which a monster appeared, and so Frankenstein was born.
