You! The success of increasing FFC’s book of business depends on YOU and your ability to provide our clients with full service account management. That account servicing includes retirement plan accounts. You are (or will be) a securities licensed sales professional and complete CE annually, as required to maintain your license. Who? It is time to put that 6 & 63 to use! Each year, you will have a quota for new applications and rollovers. The 2017 Quota is 6 rollovers and 36 new apps. This number is VERY easily attainable and will increase each calendar year. How?

Make certain that your account know that YOU are the go-to person for all retirement plan related questions YOU have the ability to offer solutions to your groups Leave your business cards with the Business Office If a new employee comes in with questions re: old retirement plan accounts, make sure the business office knows that YOU are the solution

Who Do I Present To? Key Employees = Decision Makers
Make it a point to establish relationships with KEY employees at your accounts! Key Employees = Decision Makers Always include the benefits office AND payroll in meetings where the new plan/product is being placed. Everyone being on the same page will alleviate most confusion & miscommunication issues.

What Do I Present? Present the product, as the MOST competitive and flexible option there is! Present YOURSELF – as the licensed financial professional that will be servicing the account!! This sets us apart from our competition!!! Discuss Auto-Enroll & Employer Match!!!! We’ve had recent success with BOTH options. It is possible AND profitable, for you! Most importantly, it helps our clients reach their retirement goals!

Enrollment & Ongoing Plan Servicing
Will I have support? What if I have questions? Where do I even START? Review a list of YOUR accounts. Find out if they have an existing group retirement plan. If so, contact Michele to find out what plan(s) is in place and how you can increase participation. If there is a plan in place with another provider, let’s talk about takeover options. If there is not plan in place, present the most appropriate option for your group, request contracts, etc. YOU WILL HAVE SUPPORT! Twana, Felix, and Michele are here to help with New Business questions, help with completing rollover/transfer paperwork, applications, etc.

Enrollment & Ongoing Plan Servicing
Meetings – Try to get in at the beginning of mandatory staff meetings. This will ensure you reach every employee! Meetings can be product specific or generic, covering TRS retirement, 457 & 403(b) Set up enrollment for the days following the meeting. Schedule individual times for each employee – 20 to 30 minutes. Typically, the campus secretary will keep the sign up sheet and you can collect it upon arrival Ongoing plan servicing can be done once a year, to increase participation & compensation!
