Aging Population Lee Subeom Gerontius Ng Chong Yoon Yu Hello my name is ______ and this are my group members ___ _____. Today we are here to discuss about how we could tackle the aging population in singapore and how to rebalance the aging workforce so that there are enough workers to support the elderly population. We have identify that one of the main causes to aging population is the low birth rate as there not enough babies born to replace the population. In this presentation we will identify the problem, ideas generate to tackle the problems and solutions we can implement from the ideas generated.

More getting married but less babies are born More career drive = less time for baby making Lower Birth Rate TFR of 2,1 is needed for population to replace itselfs More singaporeans are getting married but less babies baby are born. Singaporeans are more focused in career. Many families did not include starting a family in their plans. Many woman missed out on their peak of giving birth at ages 25 – 29 and only want childrens at age of 40. Having babies at age of 40 = higher risk.
