Vembu ImageBackup agent needs to be installed on each physical servers, Workstations and laptops which needs to be backed up or the backup process can be performed directly from VembuBDR Server console also. This can be done by adding the Microsoft Windows Host
ImageBackup creates the snapshot of the selected disks by using Microsoft VSS
The snapshot of the full disk will be then compressed and encrypted before it leaves the source server or desktop
