Three-Minute Pause In order to learn and remember information, we have to stop and take it in; otherwise information will flow through our minds without sticking!

Introduction, Modeling, and Reflection
Students pause while reading, watching a video, or listening to a lecture and turn to their partner or group to: summarize what they have learned, identify something they found particularly interesting and to ask any questions about confusing information and to make a prediction about what they might learn next. Stop and think (Write a reflection)

Questions Make sure to keep CRISS strategies in your lesson plans and encourage your students to use them to engage their thinking!
