2. How It Started
Impressments: were British ships that captured U.S. trade ships and forced sailors to work on the war ships.

4. Burning of Washington D.C.
British soldiers were trying to take over the capitol and was successful.
British advanced on the U.S. and the U.S. retreated and the British burned the White House.

5. Attack on Baltimore Was a two part battle sea/land. North Point: Land
Fort McHenry: Land/sea

6. North Point Was five miles away from the city Baltimore.
They protected the city making the British retreat.

7. Bombardment on Fort McHenry
Being under heavy cannon fire they fought back and made the British surrender.
They used their own ships to block the entrance to Baltimore.

8. Aftermath The fight lasted three days.
In the result the “Star-Spangled Banner by U.S. man that was watching the rockets explode, his name Francis Scott Key.

9. The End
The Americans won the war and the Treaty Of Ghent was signed.
