Paraguay is located in South America. It is surrounded by Brazil,
Bolivia, and Argentina. The capital of Paraguay is Asuncíon. Other cities are Ciudad del Este, Concepcion, and Encarnacion. The population of the country is 6,375,830. Paraguayans speak Spanish, but 90% of them understand The language Guarani.

Crops Soybeans, cotton, tobacco, and sugarcane are the most important crops in Paraguay. Soybeans weren't produced in Paraguay until 1967 but now the annual output is 1 million tons. Cotton is one of the oldest crops in the country, and used to be the most produced. Tobacco has been used for centuries as well. It is grown mostly by small farmers and is exported to many countries. Sugarcane production in Paraguay keeps increasing every year.

Clothing In Paraguay, the people dress just like most
other Latin American countries. For formal wear, most men wear dark suits and the women wear suits sometimes too.

Animals Paraguay is home to many species of bats, opossums, deer, and monkeys. They also have quite a few jaguars that hunt all of these animals. There are many animals there that we would also see in America. They have birds, dogs, and cats.

Paraguay's climate is hot and humid, but it is also rainy. This is good because the crops won't dry out. This climate also lets just about every crop to be grown in Paraguay.
