15:20 and thus I make it my ambition to preach the gospel, not where Christ has already been named, lest I build on someone else's foundation, 21 but as it is written, “Those who have never been told of him will see, and those who have never heard will understand.” 22 This is the reason why I have so often been hindered from coming to you. 23 But now, since I no longer have any room for work in these regions, and since I have longed for many years to come to you, 24 I hope to see you in passing as I go to Spain, and to be helped on my journey there by you, once I have enjoyed your company for a while.

15:25 At present, however, I am going to Jerusalem bringing aid to the saints. 26 For Macedonia and Achaia have been pleased to make some contribution for the poor among the saints at Jerusalem. 27 For they were pleased to do it, and indeed they owe it to them. For if the Gentiles have come to share in their spiritual blessings, they ought also to be of service to them in material blessings. 28 When therefore I have completed this and have delivered to them what has been collected, I will leave for Spain by way of you. 29 I know that when I come to you I will come in the fullness of the blessing of Christ.

15:30 I appeal to you, brothers, by our Lord Jesus Christ and by the love of the Spirit, to strive together with me in your prayers to God on my behalf, 31 that I may be delivered from the unbelievers in Judea, and that my service for Jerusalem may be acceptable to the saints, 32 so that by God's will I may come to you with joy and be refreshed in your company. 33 May the God of peace be with you all. Amen.

PRINCIPLES Every believer has a holy calling – God’s priority list for you – general & specific No one can do all the holy callings A believer should finish their holy calling A holy calling may be for a season Callings change but believers always have one Worldly calling; false gods; silver; success; sex; sloth Understand your calling and thank God for other people’s calling. Don’t feel guilty or frustrated. Don’t’ grow weary in dong good. Don’t quit before the work is done. God may call you to a different calling when He is through with the past one. Until heaven you will have a purpose – calling.

PRINCIPLES Even if others misunderstand, know and fulfill what God calls you to God makes believers materially generous to those in need God makes believers love to do what they ought to do. Duty becomes a delight Remember the Jews All believers are one family – the invisible church Make plans and trust God when He changes them Paul explained the past and now the present reasons for not visiting Rome The Holy Spirit transforms a person Christianity began with the Jews and God has not finished with them yet One family

Ephesians 6:12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. 1 Corinthians 15:58 Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain. Matthew 11:28 Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.

APPLICATIONS What is God calling you specifically to do now that pleases Him and gives Him glory? Are you generous materially? Are you spiritually indebted or spiritually arrogant? Has your God commanded duty become your personal pleasure and delight? How is your prayer life? Do you forget who your enemy is? Do you forget who gives you peace?
