Creating a bond between people and dogs Dogs motivate Dogs provide a bridge to wider world Dogs enhance confidence, self-esteem etc Dogs help people develop social skills Standards and ethics Professional disciplines

The people we support People too complex to fit just one model
Can benefit from task-work and therapeutic value People can move across models e.g. physiotherapy, speech therapy, motor skills etc Clients tell us it is about more than taskwork Dogs make people feel better

Common theme Creating bonds between dogs and people
We all need to develop our skills, knowledge and understanding Bringing dogs and people together changes live It is totally logical for ADI and AAII to work together
