1. 1st International Symposium of Asian Concrete Federation ACF on Ultra High Performance Concrete organized by Asian Concrete Federation and hosted by Indian Concrete Institute on 7th October, 2015

2. ACF 2015
During the 5th ACF General Assembly and 10th ACF Executive Council meeting held in Seoul on September 21st 2014, it was decided to hold the first ACF Symposium on Ultra High Performance Concrete (UHPC).
Accordingly, the 1st International Symposium of Asian Concrete Federation ACF 2015 on Ultra High Performance Concrete was organized by Asian Concrete Federation and hosted by Indian Concrete Institute on 7th October, 2015.
The event was organised at Science City, Kolkata in India.

Prof. S. P. Shah, Walter P. Murphy, Professor of Civil Engineering (Emeritus), North Western University, USA and Prof. Dr-Ing Ekkehard Fehling of University of Kessel, Germany were the Co-Chair of the Symposium.
They are instrumental in planning, selecting topics and experts in the field of UHPC for the symposium.

Experts who have made considerable contributions to the development of UHPC technology were invited to give key note lectures.
12 leading experts in the field of UHPC from Germany, USA, Canada, Italy, Japan, South Korea and China delivered keynote presentations highlighting basic research on material properties, design criteria, case studies of real life projects on UHPC during the Symposium.

Prof. Suranjan Das, Vice Chancellor of Jadavpur University India was the Guest of Honour of the inaugural program.
During the inaugural program the first volume of ACF journal was released by prof. Donguk Choi and ACF Symposium proceedings was released by Prof. Suranjan Das.

23. ACF 2015
The 4th Asian Conference on Ecstasy in Concrete ICI-ACECON 2015 on Advancements in Structural Concrete was organised by ICI-West Bengal Centre between 8th to 10th October, 2015 at Science city, Kolkata.
In this flagship event of ICI, more than 100 papers were presented including 28 keynote lectures by leading national and international experts.

The quality and gravitas of ACECON 2015 was immensely enriched by the active participation of international professional bodies like American Concrete Institute, RILEM, Federation International de beton (fib), Asian Concrete Federation, Japan Concrete Institute etc.
The ICI technical document on ICI guideline on recycling, use and Management of C&D Wastes was released during the inaugural programme. The proceedings of ACECON (2 volumes) and the souvenir were also released during the inaugural programme.

About 500 delegates from all over the country as well as 12 different countries from all over the world participated in ACF Symposium and ACECON.
During the four day event, a technical exhibition was organized which was participated by 20 different organizations.

Indian Concrete Institute has promised to hand over US$ 3000 to Asian Concrete Federation out of the little money saved out of the Symposium and Conference.
