2. Last summer I visited some Scandinavian countries: Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland.

3. We used different means of transport: a bus, a train and a sea liner.

4. Finland is famous for its architecture.

5. One of the features of the army in Finland is the Guards.

6. The symbol of Sweden is a horse.

7. Sweden has many sights: monuments, cathedrals and squares.

8. Denmark is known for its beautiful landscapes.

9. There is a legend that when a seaman sailed, nymphs sang songs
There is a legend that when a seaman sailed, nymphs sang songs. While he was swimming and listening to them, he was slowly dying.

10. I saw a famous mermaid in Copenhagen with my own eyes. It’s wonderful.

11. Amsterdam
We also visited Holland and its capital Amsterdam. I like this city because people here are very friendly and it’s famous for interesting architecture and numerous canals.

12. One of the most interesting buildings is the building in the shape of a ship.

13. Amsterdam is a city of bicycles
Amsterdam is a city of bicycles. There are bicycles in the city with the population of people.

14. My impressions
I enjoyed my journey to Scandinavia. I hope that I’ll return there very soon.
I met a lot of new people and learnt about interesting customs of Scandinavian countries.
