This chapter surveys the elements and issues covered throughout the course.
In doing that it examines five topics/themes of the course, but directs them specifically towards analysis of continuity or change in the international system:
a) cooperation and conflict;
b) change, stability and order;
c) power and justice;
d) governance;
e) security.
