Senior advisors will:
Assist students with academic planning, goal setting, curriculum and interpretation of policies and procedures.
Work with new students who are enrolled in one of the Student Success courses.
Students will:
Schedule regular advising appointments and come prepared with questions.
Be an active learner by participating fully in the advising experience.
Ask questions if you do not understand an issue or have a specific concern.

About Academic Transfer Education:
In Academic Transfer Education, you will be taking General Education Core Curriculum courses and some major prerequisites at the community college.
The major courses of the bachelor degree will be taken in the junior and senior years at the university after completion of the associate degree.

For a 3 credit-hour lecture class, meeting 3 hours per week, you can be dropped after 6 hours of absence. For a 4 credit-hour lecture/lab course meeting 6 hours per week, you can be dropped after 12 hours of absence.
