Normalising LHC BLM data
Goal: Providing dose levels/integrated intensity (Gray/proton second ) dose levels/integrated luminosity (Gray/fb-1) LHC LDB/MDB Luminosity Intensity Normalised data Report BLM data Ongoing work: Creation of automated scripts Data retrieval Intensities 2016 Luminosities 2016 BLM RadMon Analysis scripts Plotting tools Publish reports Weekly
3
Normalising LHC BLM data
LDB variable used for the LHC BLMs: BLM_name:DOSE_INT_HH. Fine for data from 2016 Issues for data from 2015 Overhaul of the scripts will solve the issue. Collaboration with Chen Xu New features: Variable integration intervals Selecting beam modes Selecting beam energies Calculation of the lost particle intensities per fill
4
Normalising LHC BLM data
Next steps: Investigation of data retrieval routines. Data retrieval Upgrade of the local data base Update of the existing analysis modules No time estimate yet (O(weeks)). Expand the framework to injectors. Work started on the SPS data
