3. Your task
Produce a Visitors’ Information pack a place of worship near your home or in Watford
It must give information to any visitor to the place of worship. Imagine the visitor knows very little about that religion or place of worship.
Students do not have to film or take photos of the place of worship if they do not have time to get down there.
This should be done in groups of 5 or 6.
You will be marked individually.

4. What you should include
The history of the place
What worshippers do to help other people in the community
What to do in the place of worship – how to dress, behave etc
Who the worshippers are…any first hand comments
Symbols seen in the building, the use of art
Services & celebrations – what should the visitor expect will happen?
The important features of the building – why are they there?
Other uses of the building (eg education, celebrations – weddings, funerals, festivals)
How artefacts (religious objects should be treated)
