Methuselah Ran out of Time
(Matthew 24:36-37) [36] But concerning that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father only. [37] As were the days of Noah, so will be the coming of the Son of Man. (I Thessalonians 5:2-3) [2] For you yourselves are fully aware that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night. [3] While people are saying, There is peace and security, then sudden destruction will come upon them as labor pains come upon a pregnant woman, and they will not escape.

Methuselah Ran out of Time

Methuselah Watched Salvation Float Away
(Genesis 7:21-23) [21] And all flesh died that moved on the earth, birds, livestock, beasts, all swarming creatures that swarm on the earth, and all mankind. [22] Everything on the dry land in whose nostrils was the breath of life died. [23] He blotted out every living thing that was on the face of the ground, man and animals and creeping things and birds of the heavens. They were blotted out from the earth. Only Noah was left, and those who were with him in the ark.

And the dead in Christ will rise first (I Thessalonians 4:17) Then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord

Methuselah Was Lost, We Don’t Have To Be
(I Peter 3:20-21) [20] ... when God's patience waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was being prepared, in which a few, that is, eight persons, were brought safely through water. [21] Baptism, which corresponds to this, now saves you, not as a removal of dirt from the body but as an appeal to God for a good conscience, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ,

Methuselah Was Lost, We Don’t Have To Be
(Acts 2:37) Now when they heard this they were cut to the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, Brothers, what shall we do? (Acts 2:38) And Peter said to them, Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit
