The external acts of sin are obvious – Galatians 5:19

It causes misery and heartache – Mark 5:1-20
It enslaves us – John 8:34; Romans 6:15-18
It separates us from God – Isaiah 59:2; 1 Peter 3:7-8
It leads to spiritual death – Romans 6:23; James 1:13-15
