The Architecture of the church
1852(victorian period) there were the true traditional glasses in the church. But after the war people of another religion destroyed the glasses. 1950. the glasses were restored but are not as nice as the original ones. ( we can see the difference between the original glasses and the new( they have less charm). In the school there are 50 musician teachers, 4 orchestras , and each pupil plays at least one instrument. In the church there are 4 services every sunday, the top is a 'fan vault which is very famous because it's one of the first one which was created. The architect came from for away to build it. We can also note then the name of headmasters along the wall. . Moreover in the corridor to go to the church we can read a quotation on the wall : « he is not a god of the dead but of the living for all live to him ».

Feelings/opinions It was amazing to see this fabulous college. It's so different from what we are used to seeing in France for both the gothic architecture and the prestigious uniform of the students who attend Winchester. College The garden, the churches, the playground... so many things to see. So bad that this school is still only for boys even though girls have become egual quite recently
