1 Infinitives (Tuesday, 11/28)
Today’s Notes (right side, Cornell style) EQ: What two things must an infinitive have and in what order? Using your journal and your classmates (if needed), write Cornell notes that answer these questions: 1. What two things make up an infinitive? 2. Which of these things always has to come first? 3. What is it called if “to” is followed by a noun or an adjective and a noun? Make sure you have the info to answer the EQ. Infinitives (Tuesday, 11/28)

2 Infinitives (Tuesday, 11/28)
Revise today’s notes Check that you have this info correct. Revise where needed: 1. “to” plus a verb 2. The “to” always has to come first. 3. “To” followed by a noun or adjective/noun is called a prepositional phrase. Infinitives (Tuesday, 11/28)

3 Infinitives (Tuesday, 11/28)
Today’s task (left side) Copy the sentences. Then use your journal notes to identify and underline the infinitives (if any) in the sentences. It’s always harder to pray for people who are mean to you. To some people, it’s just not worth it to exercise. To err is human, to forgive is harder than it sounds. We are going to see the future, but not until we sit down to watch all these movies on Netflix. 4 minutes Infinitives (Tuesday, 11/28)

4 Infinitives (Tuesday, 11/28)
Finish YESTERDAY’s notes (right side) On the left, write a question for each new piece of information or section. Match the question with where the information starts on the right side. Write a summary: answer the EQ; explain something(s) that will stick in your memory; ask a question about the information. 4 minutes Infinitives (Tuesday, 11/28)
