Many people use the phrase “That’s one small step for man, and one giant leap for mankind” to show someone overcoming an obstacle. In the story, “One Small Step” Andy had broken his vertebra and he had to learn how to walk again. Andy wanted to make one small step learning to walk since it would lead to him taking many steps. In “One Giant Leap” Neil Armstrong wanted to set a record of being the first man on the moon. He went with a team Aldrin and Collins which launched in Apollo II. The computer alarm signaled that they might have complications landing. They continued there mission anyway.
