18 Main Idea and Details On the Greek island of Ikaria, many people live to be 90 years old. One reason the Ikarians live so long is they eat vegetables they grow in their own gardens. Another reason is that they get enough sleep, which keeps their heart healthy. People in Ikaria also stay active by working in their own gardens and walking everywhere.
