2 “Physics and its language” and you’ll meet a lot of quantities.
You’ll read the text “Physics and its language” and you’ll meet a lot of quantities. But what is a quantity?

Time - second t = 5 s Length -meter l = 4m Force -Newton F = 2N and usually we use the unit in the S.I. (International System of Units)

9 Time: The dimension of the physical universe which, at
a given place, orders the sequence of events. Mass: A quantitative measure of a body’s resistance to being accelerated. Lenght: Extension in space. Temperature: A property of an object which determines the direction of heat flow when the object is placed in thermal contact with another object (heat flows from a region of higher temperature to one of lower temperature).

unit time. Amount of substance: A measure of the number of particles (atom, molecules,…) present in a substance. Intensity: The power transmitted by a light wave across a unit area perpendicular to the wave
