EEF Evaluations 2016/17 Reminder- questions to #EEFeval17
RCT’s in Social Sciences conference 6-8th September Since June 2016 we have collectively: Set up- 6 core projects, 3 post- 16 projects, 3 regrants In the process of setting up- 4 core projects, 2 careers projects, 4 cultural learning projects, 1 regrant Published- 19 reports and another 5 to come in July

Workshop- Complex whole- school evaluations
Part of EEF’s 5-year strategy Whole school approaches do not lend themselves easily to RCTs A review on methodological and practical considerations in evaluating whole school improvement and leadership interventions

A looming challenge the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) that comes into force in May 2018 Opt- in consent could be required for all projects including projects currently underway ACTION for evaluators: speak to your ethics committees about what their view is on this
