SAPA is an independent, non-discriminatory and non-aligned association. Our mission is to: Provide opportunities for the professional development of members and participate in policy formulation at departmental level by securing positions on relevant committees and task groups.

Orange: Power Colour – associated with success, joy, enthusiasm, determination, change, energy, adventure Blue: Relates to one-on-one communication, it is associated with depth and stability, it symbolizes trust, loyalty, wisdom, confidence, intelligence, truth and it relates to KNOWLEDGE, POWER, INTEGRITY and SERIOUSNESS SYMBOLS: Shield: Symbol of strength and protection, symbol of status and leadership Shepherd’s Crook: Symbol of power and guardianship, symbol of leading people and responsibility 9 Rings: 9 Provinces (Rings symbolize power, control and infinity) Intersection of rings: Unity, Strength, Synergy, Collaboration
