13. Quote of the Day Reflection
I made an easy, medium and hard worksheet but WAY TOO HARD. Need to make easy, ACTUALLY EASY. It’s more important for students to be bought in (and then challenged) than to start them with a challenge.
First two variable problem was like this:
S + T = 15
S – T = 5.
An easier two variable problem would have been
S + 5 = 8
S + T = 12
Need to edit Kahoot (there’s a repeat question). Also one of the questions was way too hard (I can’t even do in my head). I did make the Kahoot really quickly
HOWEVER, students were engaged during the Do Now. I’m excited to see that play out this year. (First time with whiteboards)
The brain break was well timed (after a 20 minute activity)
