Until 2009 was named: Naised Emakakaelavähi Vastu (Women Against Cervical Cancer)
From March 2010 has a new name Emakas.ee
The reason for change:
promote our website
make it our main communication channel.
We have:
8 active members,
5 active supportive members
ca 100 supportive members
Main supporters: Dermoshop, Tallinn City Council, MSD, Testikodus.ee, magazine Hers, PR company LH Concept etc

3. SCHOOL LECTURES- WACC AWARD 2010
Our union won WACC Award This is very important recognition to us. Thank you!
We got grant 5000EUR to increase awareness and prevent HPV among Estonian students.
Result: We organized 40 lectures all over Estonia and generated publicity - our activities were covered by media more than 50 times
We filmed a lecture in Estonian and in English so you can use the material. Films are freely available for downloads in Youtube: in Estonian in English

5. Health seminar for women
We organized informative seminar for Estonian women
First part was for healthcare consultants (80 people)
and second part for all women (80 women)
We gave information about:
Situation of healthcare among Estonian women
How women´s health effects everyday family life
CC preventing
Steps towards stronger immune system
We organized health product fair
and got 60 supportive members.

6. Health seminar for Russian women
In November we organized an informative seminar for 460 Russian women.
Topics: CC preventing, venereal diseases, exellent lingerie for your body and how to make your husband rich.
Plus we organised a mini health fair.
We got 30 supportive members.

7. Repeating social campaign
Main message:
CC is preventable, visit your doctor regularly!
Channels:
TV; Print; Outdoor, Internet; Shopping Centers; Cinema; Co-operation with companies (buying product, you will support CC preventation)

8. Summer tour
Last three years we have been on summer tour with popular Estonian tv-show.
We visited 12 locations all over Estonia
Communicated with more than 1500 people
500 of them answered to written question forms
First time we spread information among men

9. Events
We have attended every women and family fair and similar family events for last three years.
Totally we have taken part more than 300 events all over Estonia!
