Nursing Constituency Council

What Do We Do? The Nursing Constituency Council (NCC) is one of five student nursing organization on-campus at UTA, and is also considered a branch of student government We serve as a liaison (“middleman”) between CONHI students and faculty—we will anonymously bring forward all student concerns to the appropriate nursing faculty, to mediate discussion and hopefully change for the better! We also participate in community service activities and fun events like UTA’s Homecoming festivities

When and Where Do We Meet?
We meet from 12-1 pm on the third Monday of every month We will have a total of three general body meetings this semester: September 19th October 17th November 21st Our meetings take place in Pickard Hall, Room 104 YOU CAN JOIN AT ANY TIME DURING THE SEMESTER!

How Do I Join? Joining is easy!!!
No need to fill out an electronic or paper membership Simply send us a message (**CONTACT INFORMATION WILL BE PROVIDED AT THE END OF THIS PRESENTATION**), making sure to provide us with your name and official UTA student address An invitation to join our MavOrgs (Maverick Organizations) webpage will be sent to you Once you accept the invitation, you are officially a member of NCC! (Alternatively, you can give us your address at the first general body meeting, after which we will add you to our roster!)

Why Should I Join? We also provide free pizza at all of our meetings
Participate in community service activities and earn volunteer hours On-campus students: 25 hours earns you a cord at graduation AP Students: 20 hours earns you a cord at graduation Interact with guest speakers at our general body meetings Meet new friends with similar interests, from pre-nursing to J2 level Being involved in a student nursing organization helps you stand out to your future employers Membership is FREE! We also provide free pizza at all of our meetings
