19 Benefits of Structured Music Education
Promotes goal setting Develops self-confidence Provides consistency and standardization What you’ll find is that by providing this systematic approach to teaching, with regular assessments, students are more likely to remain engaged and stick with their lessons.

20 Third Party Assessment
Students set goals, track their progress, and celebrate their accomplishments Performance examinations for all instruments Written examinations for theory An important and central element of the program is the inclusion of ongoing third-party assessment. Research shows that students that work toward a goal are more motivated and more likely to continue, improving your student retention. Talk about opportunities for recitals and other events that can celebrate preparation for exams, provide an opportunity to “rehearse” and to showcase your studio!
