Soon after the death of Alexander the Great in 323 B.C., his generals divided his empire into four parts. Two of which was Egypt (Ptolemies) and Syria (Seleucids).
Ptolemies ruled Palestine 323 – 198 B.C.

"At the end R563 time the king R564 of the South will collide with him, and the king R565 of the North will storm R566 against him with chariots, with horsemen and with many ships; and he will enter countries, overflow R567 {them} and pass through. 11:41 "He will also enter the Beautiful F361 R568 Land, and many {countries} will fall; but these will be rescued out of his hand: Edom, Moab R569 and the foremost of the sons of Ammon. R570 11:42 "Then he will stretch out his hand against {other} countries, and the land of Egypt will not escape.

"But he will gain F362 control over the hidden treasures of gold and silver and over all the precious things of Egypt; and Libyans R571 and Ethiopians R572 {will follow} at his heels. F363 11:44 "But rumors from the East and from the North will disturb him, and he will go forth with great wrath to destroy and annihilate F364 many. 11:45 "He will pitch the tents of his royal pavilion between the seas and the beautiful Holy R573 Mountain; yet he will come to his end, and no one will help him.

What could be the source of the “push” / “collide” from the king of the South?
