2. GeoPortal installation
Recommended Minimum System Requirements
6GB of RAM, including swap space.
2.2GHz processor
1 GB software disk usage.
Additional disk space for any data hosted with GeoNode and tiles cached with GeoWebCache.
64-bit hardware recommended.
Ubuntu Linux operating system

3. Installation on Ubuntu Linux 14.04 OS
First, make sure you have the add-apt-repository binary available.
$ sudo apt-get install software-properties-common
2. Set up the GeoNode PPA
$ sudo add-apt-repository ppa:geonode/stable

4. Installation on Ubuntu Linux 14.04 OS
3. Install the package. This step will also automatically download all necessary dependencies:
$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install geonode

5. Installation on Ubuntu Linux 14.04 OS
4. Create a superuser and set the IP address
$ geonode createsuperuser
$ sudo geonode-updateip localhost
