Sample Script: Hi _________. Are you doing anything next Thursday? Well, I came across this amazing cosmetic line that is the quality of Chanel but half the price. I am hosting a Beauty Basics Event at my home. I know you like make up, looking great and saving money just like me. It is only a hour or so and it would mean a lot to me if you would come I really value your opinion. I only have 10 spots open can I count on you to be there?

Ensuring Great Attendance RSVP Call
Confirm by phone the day before the event to ensure great attendance and a successful event Tips to a successful RSVP Call If possible have the Presenter do RSVP calls (your friends and family are more likely to cancel on you and will feel bad to cancel on the presenter they don’t know) When calling tell them you have heard great things about them from the hostess and you are looking forward to meeting them Make sure you ask them “Can we count on you to be there and help out (hostess name) achieve her goal?”

Print out all required handouts and place them in a Motives or Manila folder: Motives Face Chart Beauty Basics Survey Beauty Basics Event- If your event is from 6PM-8PM, social time would be from 6:00-6:30PM, event 6:30-7:30, closing sales 7:30-8 30 minutes for social time before event starts to allow guests time to show up Start promptly even if all guests are not there

Demonstrate how using a brush uses less product and saves money Take any color of liquid foundation and put 2 circles on a mirror (about a little smaller than a dime size) Take the makeup sponge and rub over the foundation to spread it on the mirror (only on half of the mirror) Then take the Foundation Brush and go over the foundation on the other side of the mirror and spread it on the mirror, this will show how the sponge absorbed all the foundation and the brush was smoother and didn’t waste product

It is important to ask the Guests: Is there any reason you would not want to get started using these amazing cosmetics right away? When closing the sale use the word “which” Avoid- “Do you need any products?” Instead use, “Which products do you need to start with today?” Avoid- “Did you want to buy anything today?” Instead use, “Which of the products will you be taking home today?” Focus on selling the Special Kits

Explain three ways to purchase the night of the event: (Hostess) has a few products in stock and if you are lucky you can take your products home tonight. We will also make you a Motives Preferred Customer for future special deals. If (Hostess) does not have the items you want, they will order them and deliver them or they can be shipped to your door and you will get cash back for your purchase. Follow-up with new customers, hostess, potential Business Partners Retail: Goal $1,000 12 guests = 12 new customers Events Sell $1,000 retail Find Next Host Find 2 Prospects Follow-Up Team Building: 12 potential Business Partners. Identify two new prospective Business Partners – directly or through referral. If there are interested people at event, share business plan with host/hostess. Find Next Host: 12 potential hosts that have experienced product and seen an event. Book next event before you leave!
