Jesus, the son of Mary, would be the one seed through whom the promise of salvation would be fulfilled. cf. Galatians 3:13-29; Romans 15:8; Acts 26:6-7; 28:20
Mary visited for three months, bringing the time of the birth of John the baptist very near. cf. verse 36

First “astonished,” then “fear,” then “talked about”
