Subject and Grade Level
This Unit will be used in a fourth grade class. It is an interdisciplinary Unit on endangered animals that addresses multiple curriculums.

Curriculum Framing Questions
Essential Question: What can you do to save the world? Unit Questions: What does it mean to be endangered? Why do we want to save them? Content Questions: Why are they endangered? What are some endangered animals? Where do they live?

AR.05.CP.02 Identify the creative process used, and the choices made, when combining ideas, techniques and problems solving to produce ones work. EL.04.RE.09 Understand, learn, and use new vocabulary that is introduced and taught directly through informational text, literary text, and instruction across the subject areas. PE.05.EE.05 Identify rules and procedures in specified physical activities. SS.05.SA.04 Identify characteristics of an event, issue, or problem, suggesting possible causes and results.

Learning Objectives The students will:
Students will learn to be an advocate for endangered animals through art. Students will explore new vocabulary as it relates to the activity. Students will work together to learn adaptation through a movement activity. Students will learn cause and effect of human impact on the world. Students will learn how to use a digital camera.
