Classroom News The Week of October 18-21 “Don’t let what you can’t do stop you from doing what you can do.”- John Wooden Reading Dates: 10/19- READING ASSESSMENT 10/21- MATH ASSESSMENT R.I (Informational)- Refer to details and examples in a text when explaining what the text says explicitly and when drawing inferences from the text. R.I (Informational)-Interpret information presented visually, orally, or quantitatively. Reminders Please help us collect October 18th-21st Service Items of the Week: ( t shirts, socks, hats, sunglasses, hair clips, watches, flashlights with batteries) Math CC.4.NBT.5- Learning Target: I can use various strategies to multiply 2-digit by 2-digit numbers (tens). CC.4NBT.5- Learning Target: I can use area models and partial products to solve 2-digit by 2-digit multiplication problems. CC.4.OA.3- Learning Target: I can solve multi-step multiplication problems using strategies learned. STUDENTS MUST COMPLETE AND RETURN SIMPLE SOLUTIONS BOOK LESSONS NIGHTLY! Our Learning Science/Grammar Science- I can identify which animals are classified vertebrate/invertebrate and their significance Grammar- Comma usage/ Conjunctions *** Students must read 20 minutes per night and record it on Reading Log with parent signature.
