LO: to recognise the value of each digit Make the Highest Number 1. Roll a die or pick a single digit card. 2. Place your digit in the hundred, ten or one column. 3. The next person takes their turn. 4. When you’ve both completed your number the one with the highest number wins. 5. Do you always need to finish each round to know who wins? 34 LO: to count on in 1s and 10s on a number square.
Some of the numbers are missing on this number square, how will we solve the problem?

35 LO: to count on in 1s and 10s on a number square.
This shape has been cut out from a 100-square.  What number comes after thirty-six? This is the number that is one more than thirty-six. What number goes below thirty-six? This is the number that is ten more than thirty-six

36 LO: to count on in 1s and 10s on a number square.
We don’t need to count on in ones; we can just look at the number underneath!      

37 LO: to count on in 1s and 10s on a number square.
Use your number square to help you if your finding it tricky!
