A Prime number is… A number that can only be divided by 1 and itself. Example time! 7 divided by 4 is: 1 remainder 3!!!!! You can’t divide 7 by 4 or any other number except for 1 or itself!

A Prime number is… A number that is not in any of your time tables! (Except 1!)

A Prime Number is… A number that is not an even number except for… 2!

You have (hopefully!) learned…
That a Prime Number can only be divided by itself and 1. That Prime Numbers are not part of the even numbers group, except for 2. That Prime Numbers are not in any of the times tables apart from 1.

Square numbers Square numbers are when you get a number and multiply it by itself! Example: 8x8=64!!!!! How do you like that example Mr Beattie?
